Mike Thielke Participates in Panel Discussion on Nurturing Entrepreneurship with MEDA

Mike Thielke, Executive Director of the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC), recently participated in a panel discussion on how to create a successful entrepreneurial ecosystem. The panel was part of an event titled “Economic Development Transforms Lives” hosted by the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA).

Julie Lenzer, Chief Innovation Officer at the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute, moderated the discussion. Topics included R&D, Incubation and Innovation Parks. The discussion focused on the tools needed to produce measurable economic development successes by creating dynamic environments that attract high skilled, technology talent and companies to the region. Joining Mike were two additional panelists: Larry Tiffany, CEO of Medcura and Claire Broido Johnson, Managing Director of the Maryland Momentum Fund.
