In 2010, Dorchester County transfered management of its Revolving Loan Fund program to
 ESEC.  In collaboration with the Dorchester County Economic Development Office, ESEC facilitates loan application requests from businesses and entrepreneurs in Dorchester County and makes recommendations about loan approval.  All final decisions of loan applications are made by the Dorchester County Council.

The goals of the fund are job growth and business expansion.  Therefore, loan requests should involve activities and uses that achieve these goals.

As funds are available, loan requests in the amount up to $50,000 are welcomed.
