Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in 2004 to help advance an entrepreneurship ecosystem on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

At its outset, ESEC served retail and lifestyle entrepreneurs throughout the Eastern Shore.  However, over the past years ESEC has pivoted its efforts and resources towards a targeted audience of  innovative, high-growth, and scalable entrepreneurs and startups.  A series of initiatives have been created to specifically meet the needs of entrepreneurs and startups involved in innovation and technology products and services.  These include:
